What are Expert Advisors?

Expert Advisors are programs developed in MetaQuotes Language 4 (MQL). You can use an EA for automated technical analysis and trading. An EA can perform analytical and trading operations based on the way you program it, for specific symbols, periods and based on specific criteria.

Here’s how you can use an EA on Axiory MT4

Uploading an EA to MT4

Double-click the downloaded file.
If a security warning appears, click on ‘Run as it is’. Confirm the directory to install and click ‘Next’
On the next screen, click ‘Install’ to start the installation.
When the completion screen is displayed, click ‘finish’ to complete the installation.
The [OneClickTrading] folder is installed in the [Program Files (x86)] folder of the C drive. Confirm that there are 3 files ( mt4dll.dll, OneClickTrading.exe, OneClickTradingEA.ex4 ).
Start MT4, and from ‘File’ choose ‘Open Data Folder’, open the [MQL 4] → [Experts] folder. Copy the three files of [ OneClickTradingEA.ex4] that you installed earlier to the [Experts] folder.

Activating an EA on MT4

Open MT4 and click the ‘auto trade’ button on the toolbar to start the Auto Trade function. The name of the EA you just installed will be displayed in the ‘Expert Advisor’ section of the navigator window.
If you drop the EA name into the chart window, the setting screen will be displayed.
Go to the setting items on the ‘General’ tab
Check ‘allow use of DLL’ and ‘allow automatic trading’ and click ‘Ok’
Check that the extension for ‘one click’ is displayed on the platform. When started correctly, ‘Nikochan Mark’ appears in the upper right of the chart.
